THE MOST AMAZING AIRBNB & RAPPELLING IN EAST ZION!
THE MOST AMAZING AIRBNB & RAPPELLING IN EAST ZION!
Everyone knows about Zion National Park, but not everyone is familiar with East Zion, which is absolutely beautiful as well. This airbnb is nestled near the canyons of East Zion, where it’s a bit quieter and more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of Zion National Park. To say this Airbnb, //ABODE³ at East Zion, was magical would truly be an understatement. It was everything we could have possibly wanted and more.

//ABODE³ at East Zion was trendy, first and foremost, in a beautiful, almost surreal location, offering views for days from the tiny house. This Airbnb is actually a container/tiny house, which was really neat to see the remaining parts you could tell were a shipping container, such as the beveled walls that shipping containers have. I love watching the show Tiny House Nation, so I was definitely nerding out hardcore being in an actual chic tiny house.
I’m pretty critical when it comes to Airbnbs, and this one seriously had everything we needed, from local coffee (A MUST) to a comfy bed, cute decor for photoshoots (content creator life, y’all!), and responsive and kind hosts. Micah and Jules were super responsive and did everything they possibly could to ensure we had a lovely time in their Abode! We were able to use all their amenities and they made for a lovely weekend in East Zion.
What was the overall vibe of the inside?
I would describe the interior as cozy and trendy! Yes, the place is small, but it felt very spacious because of how everything was organized and arranged. I cuddled up on the couch with Andrew after our adventures through East Zion, and it was really nice and comfy, too, so if anyone needed to sleep on it, it would be great. The bathroom was fully stocked with everything you might need, as was the kitchen. We didn’t lack for anything while we were there, which is a big deal for those who have stayed in numerous vacation homes/Airbnbs. There’s typically always something missing or you wished you had. Our hosts did a great job thinking about what guests would want.
What I thought was really cute was that Micah and Jules had a guest book we could sign and write about our experience at ABODE³. Not going to lie; I totally teared up writing our message because we needed this little getaway so badly. It had been rough back home and being in a place like this was such a breathe of fresh air, TRULY!
What was the sleeping arrangement like?
When it comes to beds and comfort, I need to be A+ because I don’t have the best shoulders, so if it’s not… I can’t sleep too well. The bed was incredibly comfy, and I truly slept like a baby, like drool and all! The Airbnb provided plenty of extra pillows and a large blanket if you needed it or if someone was staying on the couch. I really didn’t want to get out of bed that morning, but their coffee and French press were calling my name as well as the gorgouse sunrise views over the canyons.
Soak in the most relaxing spot at your airbnb
One of my favorite amenities of this airbnb was the private hot tub right outside. We used the hot tub a lot, actually, for only being there for a night. After hiking and rappelling, we soaked in the hot tub, and it was so nice for our muscles. It’s almost like they knew guests would need it! We didn’t have to mess with anything, either. I know that can get kind of confusing, using someone else’s hot tub, but all we had to do was flip up the top and get in! There was a place to change the temp on it, too, so you didn’t have to get out to change anything if you needed to. We stargazed while soaking, and my goodness, it was gorgeous. This is an area that’s dark sky to the stars were popping. We enjoyed the hot tub so much that we even got in it the next morning before we left and watched the sunrise.
Spend time on the front porch and take in the views
//ABODE³ at East Zion features a fantastic and spacious deck complete with a table, chairs, and a grill. We love visiting the local grocery store and cooking at Airbnbs. The porch is an ideal spot to grill and dine while enjoying the mountain view. One morning, we chose to have breakfast out there, and it truly was the outdoor space of my dreams!
As I mentioned before, the deck area was incredibly spacious, and with that view, you definitely wanted to spend as much time outdoors as possible! We even practiced some yoga on the deck. It was such a lovely place to appreciate Mother Nature's beauty and breathe it all in.

Go on an adventure with EAST ZION EXPERIENCES
Our hosts also own the company, East Zion Experiences, and sent us a discount if we booked while visiting. Back story: Andrew and I had never been to Zion National Park and kept hearing how we had to be there at like 6:00 a.m. to get parking, and then all the trails are fairly busy during the summer months. Additionally, we didn’t really know what we wanted to do and, to be completely honest, lacked in the research area. Okay, let's go back to East Zion Experiences! We got the discount from Micah and Jules and decided to peruse the website, and oh man… We couldn’t believe the opportunities they offered. From 2 - 7 hour rappelling tours through canyons to amazing guided hikes through East Zion. Andrew and I looked at each other and were like, “Oh, hell yes!” It was perfect!
We decided to go with the 4-hour East Zion Canyoneering/UTV Tour! Andrew and I had never rappelled before and were a little nervous but oh my goodness our tour guide, Tanner made us so freaking comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to teach us everything about rappelling as well as answering all our questions. We highly recommend booking with Tanner because he went out of his way to ensure our experience was one hundred percent and then some! Overall, I give it 11/10! Be sure to watch the video below to see us rappel!
