STAY AT THE GREEN DOOR SUITE IN UPTOWN WACO PLUS IT'S DOG FRIENDLY

If you’re looking for where to stay in Waco, this is a perfect little cozy cottage for a couple + it’s pet-friendly! In this article, we’ll be covering the ins and outs of this lovely Airbnb near downtown Waco, things to do nearby, and much more.

The Green Door Suite is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom dog friendly suite in Uptown Waco. The unit is connected to the back of MC Art Supplies, Waco's local art supply store and is just around the corner from other Waco hotspots such as: Pinewood Coffee Roasters, Harvest on 25th, Sloane’s, and The Waco Wine Shoppe!

If you’re visiting for Magnolia, it’s about a 4 minute drive from the suite or you can catch the Silo District Trolley! Waco transit has a free Silo District Trolley that runs continuously. The nearest spot on the route is located at Austin Ave and 11th St. It's a flag-stop route, so you just have to flag the driver down at any safe spot then hop on. If it’s a nice day, the airbnb hosts provide two bikes to use at no additional charge!

If you’re visiting for Baylor University, it’s about a 5 minute drive — so overall very close to a lot of the hustle and bustle of Waco.

The suite is cozy but feels fairly spacious too, and we stayed with an 80 pound with us too! The bed was beyond comfortable and perfect for watching Netflix in bed on their fairly large TV. The hosts really outdid themselves with little snacks, coffee, and cocoa too. Plus there’s a mini fridge, microwave, and a full size Keurig machine. This is pretty rare for hotel rooms these days and even bigger airbnbs. Not only this, but the details and decorations were A+. It definitely felt like they took inspiration from the queen herself, Joanna Gaines.
