Did you know there are numerous ways to work from home or at your favorite coffee shop!?

For a while, I was doing some freelance copywriting and running other business’ social media profiles as a social media manager! I truly believe working in social media for years is why I’m now able to see my social media platforms from a business perspective.

Working online full time or even part time is definitely a hustle, but it can really free up time to travel and give you flexibility if that’s what you want! I always wanted to be able to jet off to a destination or even just visit my parents back in my hometown for an extended period of time. Working online has truly allowed me to do so as long as I have my phone or laptop!💁🏻‍♀️

Now let’s jump into the different ways you can make money online. Obviously there are more than 9 ways, but these are the most popular ones, easiest to get into, and the ones I feel most comfortable discussing!

Social Media Influencer/ Blogger
Yes! You can actually make a decent amount of money as an influencer and/or blogger but honey, you’ve gotta put in the work! Influencer’s and bloggers make money by: commission links, sponsored deals with brands (brands pay influencers to promote their product), creating content for brands they don’t post on their profile, or sell courses online.
Photographer
Oh my goodness! There are so many people looking for a photographer. From influencers/blogger to boutiques, hotels, restaurants, and individuals looking for family, proposal, weddings, you name it. I suggest creating a bomb portfolio online and then start reaching out to people and taking lots of photos. Utilize those contacts you have as well! See if friends need a photographer for a specific event and go from there. They will promote you too once you’ve given them photos to post! Additionally, you can sell stock photos online and make a decent amount of money!
Online Educator
Sell courses! Consult with individuals! There are so many resources you can utilize to teach like: YouTube, Skillshare, MasterClass, and LinkedIn Learning. From courses on social media growth, marketing, meditation, calligraphy, cooking, photography, etc. You can teach pretty much anything!
Copywriter
Copywriters are needed a lot on freelance websites and some big publication companies or magazines! Basically a copywriter proofreads articles or blog entries. Additionally, copywriters can also be those who write out social media captions, posts, etc. Those are also needed! Many big influencers or bloggers end up hiring copywriters to write things for them!
Graphic Designer
Graphic Designers are ALWAYS in need, that’s for dang sure! I’ve hired a couple from Fiber before for a decent price, so if you’re a graphic designer or have some skills, create a profile on Fiber. You can design logos, signs, t-shirts, and even YouTube intros and outros!
Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistants are very needed during this day and age! They basically do everything an in person assistant would do but virtual! Meaning they can work from the comfort of their own homes or coffee shops. They schedule meetings, events, appointments, etc. and respond to emails. Really, anything and everything! Most virtual assistants work part time so this is a great way to make extra income, gain experience, and build connections while working on your business, side hobby, etc.
Social Media Manager
Being a social media manager is something A LOT of brands are looking for! Many brands can’t afford to hire an agency to run their accounts and are looking for people with that same experience
Web Developer
Web developers do anything and everything when it comes to websites! They create the site's layout and integrate graphics, applications, and pretty much anything you could possible think of!
Etsy or Online Shop Owner
You can actually make a lot of money owning an online shop! As an Etsy shop owner myself, I’ve seen this first hand! Are you crafty?? Do you make products? Do you love designing? Think about opening an online shop. I would recommend starting on Etsy because they do everything for you like taxes, marketing, etc.
