VERA BRADLEY'S INCREDIBLE STORY BEHIND THE UNITY TOTE

I’ve been so stinking excited for months now to share The Unity Tote! In black & white with shades between, this powerful pattern represents coming together, celebrating diversity, & uniting for change. The Unity Tote was the dream of a Vera Bradley store associate, Victoria, who felt moved this past summer to email the CEO directly about her idea to create a pattern that stood for unity. My eyes filled with tears when I read about this story because it’s so powerful. Then the fact that Vera Bradley said “yes you’re right” and created this beautiful bag! It makes me so happy to stand with a brand that listens to their people and is committed to celebrating diversity and unity.

Along with The Unity Tote launch, Vera Bradley will make a $20,000 donation to Women Who Create NYC, which provides scholarships and mentorships to young creatives identifying as women of color in fashion, advertising, music tech.
