THE TOP 11 MURALS AND LOCATIONS IN WACO YOU NEED PHOTOS WITH ASAP
Murals sure aren’t lacking in Waco, that’s for certain. While traveling and visiting cities you can truly see the art and culture shine through in murals around town. Artists has created full blown careers out of being mural painters. How dope is that?! I’ve always felt like mural hunting around a city was kind of like and art gallery scavenger hunt in a sense. You’re able to see the city, learn about it through its artists, and take beautiful photos. Plus, most murals are on the sides of shops, restaurants, etc. that you can support. In this blog post, I’m rounding up 11 of my favorite Waco murals you absolutely need to visit while exploring the city.

This mural is located in the Dr. Pepper Museum, which I highly recommend checking out! Parking is right across the street and free for museum guests.

4. Dichotomy Waco Mural
📍: Rooftop Patio at Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits
Artist: Mike Trozzo
About the location:
This is more of a hidden mural you have to do a little work to get to. Dichotomy has high quality coffee, unique non-alcoholic drinks, delicious alcoholic beverages, and a beautiful view of downtown on their rooftop patio. Speaking of their rooftop patio… that’s where you’ll see this amazing WACO mural. I highly recommend purchasing a drink before you head up to snap a photo.
5. Bold Waco
Artist: Nick Frigo
About the location:
This mural is on the side of one of my all time favorite pubs! Barnett's is Texas’ largest whiskey bar and third in the nation, which is wild to think about considering it’s in Waco freaking Texas… Like what?! Barnett’s also has a great brunch on the weekend as well as some cool events throughout the year like the Easter Keg Hunt. Be sure to stop in for a bite or a pint after you snap a photo! The parking lot for the pub is the best place to park to easily pop over.
6. Welcome to the Magnolia Silos
📍: Silos Baking Co. at Magnolia Market
Artist: Unknown
About the location:
Of course, Magnolia had to be included in this round up! They created a simple and aesthetic mural that you’ll absolutely want to take a picture with after you grab some of those famous Magnolia cupcakes.
