THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN DEVONPORT, NEW ZEALAND

Devonport is a cute little beach town right off the coast of Auckland and, bonus, it's only a ferry ride away. Andrew and I caught an early ferry to Devonport to grab some coffee and take in the sights. It's definitely a place you should visit when you're visiting Auckland.

TWISTED TOMATO CAFE

Something I love about New Zealand... you probably guessed it already by the photos above. THE FOOD AND COFFEE. Andrew and I just wandered into the first cafe we saw and grabbed breakfast. This scone... thing?, I'm not quite sure what it was, to be completely honest, but it was delicious! Also, yes. That's a milkshake you see.. Andrew doesn't drink coffee, so he kept getting milkshakes at 9 am! They were all so yummy, though!

DEVONPORT CHOCOLATES

Devonport is full of fun little shops and cafes, but my favorite place in Devonport is the chocolate shop. The chocolate is heavenly, and the flavor combinations are unique. Andrew ended up with a chili lime chocolate, and I made it out with a lemon tea chocolate. YUM!  I'm drooling just thinking about it.

DEVONPORT BEACH

Before we headed back to Auckland, we stopped by to take in the views at a little beach right off the ferry dock. Just look at that blue water <3
