WHY YOU NEED TO BOOK A STAY AT PARK CENTRAL HOTEL IN NYC ASAP

Why you need to book a stay at Park Central Hotel in New York City ASAP!

Many people say that you must visit the city that never sleeps at least once in your life! NYC is full of energy and extremely diverse making it a very unique experience while visiting. Even if you are not mesmerized by its soaring skyscrapers and monuments, you will be blown away by the thriving arts, culinary, fashion, and nightlife scenes. From the world-class shops and restaurants to bucket list experiences you won't find anywhere else, lose yourself in the big apple!

There’s nothing like a snuggly rainy morning in a nice hotel, am I right?! While in New York hurricane Henri decided to grace himself with his presence; meaning I was stuck in hotels for a while. Honestly Park Central Hotel was one of the best places I could have been stuck because it was luxurious, comfortable, and walking distance to numerous places. This hotel is in a great location right next to Central Park, The Met, & more!

Places nearby to grab coffee and breakfast

Central Market

Central Market is a fine foods “grab-and-go”, that offers hotel guests fresh and flavorful bites from artisanal New York vendors. In addition, Central Market also serves the best in delicious breakfast pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffee, Nespresso, and other enjoyable treats such as wine and beer. Online it says it’s open Monday through Saturday 6:30AM-8:30PM; however when I went down to the lobby to check, it said it was closed Mondays & Tuesdays.

Tisserie

Looking for a cute place to go if Central Market is closed? Or even if it’s open this place is more spacious and has places to sit and chat or even work on your laptop. Tisserie is quite literally next door to Park Central hotel. They have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for New York people watching. I went here twice and definitely recommend the quiche heated up, an oat milk matcha latte, and an oat milk latte. I do not recommend the cinnamon roll, it was more of a croissant with a little icing on it. Very awkward to eat so def just try their other baked goods. I kinda regretted ordering the cinnamon roll immediately when I saw it, haha!

Places near by you can walk to from the hotel

Check out The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Sit on the steps of the Met in Gossip Girl style with the Serena to your Blair! Then head inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art as it presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world for everyone to experience and enjoy. Visiting the Met is absolutely a must do bucket list experience while staying at Park Central Hotel, only a 20-minute subway ride away!

See a real castle in Central Park

After you’ve experienced the Metropolitan Museum of Art, walk across the street to the famous Central Park and head over to a real-life castle! Yes, you read correctly… there is a real-life castle in the middle of Central Park. Belvedere Castle is one of the most iconic features in the park and is located atop the huge rock known as Vista Rock. Grab those puffy dresses and crowns, because this is an ultimate photoshoot location!

Other things to do around NYC

Walk on The Edge of the NYC skyline

The Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere located at 30 Hudson Yards, with a one-of-a-kind design. It’s suspended in mid-air, giving you the feeling of floating in the sky with 360-degree views you can’t get anywhere else. Look 100 stories down from the thrilling glass floor, lean out over the city on angled glass walls, and even sip champagne in the sky!🥂 Definitely arrive early and get ready to be around a lot of people BUT it is worth it for an incredible view of New York City! Tickets are $36 per person and It’s located on Level 4 of The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards.

Spend the day strolling on Governors Island

Governors Island is definitely not a secret spot anymore, however, it hasn’t lost its charm and remains one of the top places to go in New York. Throughout the summer & fall, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Manhattan from the island, ride bicycles, and participate in a large variety of events hosted here. A ferry ride to the island typically costs $3 but if you decide to explore on a Saturday or Sunday before noon, it’ll be free!
