THE BEST HOTEL TO STAY AT ONLY 5 MINUTES FROM DISNEYLAND
Hotel Lulu is one of Disneyland’s most magical hotel and I had the lovely opportunity to experience its’ magic! This BW Premier Collection by Best Western property was a sight to see from the very beginning with its’ trendy entrance and fabulous lobby that was always playing a new Disney movie every time we walked in. Hotel Lulu is ideally located a short 7-minute walk from Disneyland which was a BIG checkmark on our list of what I was looking for in a hotel stay while visiting Disneyland.
The newly redesigned Hotel Lulu is the epitome of comfort and convenience. In addition to being just minutes from the Disneyland Park front gates, Hotel Lulu houses everything you need for a magical vacation. Grab a coffee before a day at Disneyland, and then lounge by the pool after your day of excitement with a cocktail at their daily happy hour.
HOW I SPENT MY WEEKEND AT DISNEYLAND
DAY 1
DINNER AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY
Downtown Disney is in the same area as both Disneyland parks only steps from the hotel. On our first evening visiting, we dropped off our bags and walked over to Downtown Disney for dinner at Tortilla Jo's and ice cream at Salt & Straw. Get the Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, you won’t regret it! Disney Springs is great because you can shop, dine and experience the best of Anaheim in one magical location. Catch a concert at the House of Blues or take home a new treasure from World of Disney. It’s the perfect place to spend an evening with your friends and family!
FIREWORKS OUTSIDE DISNEYLAND PARK
After an evening of dinner, dessert, and shopping we decided to grab a spot outside the Disneyland gates to watch the firework show. You can do this outside Disney or request a room facing the parks at Hotel Lulu. On our last evening visiting we actually saw the complete show from our hotel room while snuggled in bed. It was truly magical!
DAY 2
GRAB COFFEE AT LULU’S KITCHEN
Our first morning at Hotel Lulu we hopped out of bed to rope drop Disneyland so we had to stop by Lulu’s Kitchen to caffeinate before a long day ahead. Lulu’s Kitchen offers laidback California cuisine with SoCal culture being the heart of Hotel Lulu’s offerings: discover casual yet craveable creations with each meal. The breakfast at Hotel Lulu takes inspiration straight from your favorite childhood memories and absolutely grammable!
SPEND THE DAY AT DISNEYLAND
After grabbing coffee we made our way to the most magical place on Earth! Did you know the original Disney Experience is at Disneyland in California? Open since 1955, visit Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and New Orleans Square Area all in one day. I highly recommend getting there early to be transported to the planet of Batuu and join the Resistance on the Rise of the Resistance ride. It will blow your mind! Again, the park is quite literally minutes away from Hotel Lulu or catch a ride on the shuttle from Hotel Lulu located just minutes from the magic.
DAY 3
SPEND THE DAY AT DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE
We started the morning strong by grabbing coffee as early as possible then heading to the second Disney park in Anaheim, Disney California Adventure. My absolute favorite area, that I highly recommend, is Cars Land! You’re truly transported to Radiator Springs and can even climb into a car and take a drive through the beautiful USA! In addition, become a super hero at the Avenger’s Campus on the new Spiderman ride or help save the Galaxy on the Guardian’s of the Galaxy ride. You’re sure to have an amazing time regardless of wherever you find yourself at Disney California Adventure Park.
RELAX BY THE POOL
After a long day at the park we decided to head back to Hotel Lulu for a delicious cocktail and relaxing dip in the luxurious pool. You can’t go wrong with the delicious purple drink the bartender mixed up for us! Kids are also welcome and actually have their own special drink on draft. Once the sun started to go down, the fire pits were very desirable and the perfect spot to sit a chat with my gal pal!
Overall, our stay at Hotel Lulu was 110%! From delicious food, cocktails, and coffee, trendy vibes, and hidden Mickey’s to its’ walkability to the parks, Hotel Lulu is a prime destination for those wanting to visit Disneyland California. We were able to create the cutest Insta content and truly feel like the ultimate princesses!👑
