STAY IN A BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT STYLE HOTEL IN THE HEART OF NEW YORK CITY

Stay in a gorgeous apartment style hotel in the middle of New York City!

I had an amazing opportunity to stay at Mint House 70 Pine and y’all.. oh my lord.. It was SO. NICE. I walked into the building and was like okay danggggg. It was a very nice building with offices, apartments, coffee shops, a Michelin-star restaurant, additional restaurants, a rooftop bar, and more! Housed in an Art Deco landmark in the heart of the Financial District, Mint House at 70 Pine offers unparalleled space and modern design at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. When I walked into my room, my jaw actually hit the floor.

I’ve stayed in NYC hotels before and even crashed at a friend’s apartments and they are TINY! This room… was HUGE! I walked in and there was a freaking separate dining room before you even hit the main area which included: a full kitchen (which is a big deal), a living room, a king size bed, and view of the city!

The main question: How are the beds?

This is my main concern while staying at a hotel because, I mean the main point of staying at a hotel is to sleep… These beds do not disappoint. If anything, they were extremely hard to get out of. The first night I was there, my friends and I stayed out until like 4:30 am exploring bars, speakeasies, karaoke bars, and of course grabbing a slice.

By the time we made it home, we fell into bed and dang.. it felt like a could. My friend and I slept until noon because 1) we didn’t go to bed until 4:30 am and 2) the bed was so comfy. We felt like we melted into it! Another little perk that was cool was that they had two lights on either side of the bed and then a big light that lined the headboard to create a nice glow that wasn’t too bright but still something.

What are the hotel amenities?

This hotel is not lacking when it comes to amenities because they mean business. To start they have their own private bowling alley in the freaking building. I have never stayed in a hotel with it’s own bowling alley, have you?! Additionally, they have a state of the art fitness center to get your work out on while visiting New York City.

What are the places to eat in the building?

BLUE PARK KITCHEN: At Blue Park Kitchen, every meal is a celebration of warm and engaging flavors that deserve to be shared with ones you love. Read more about Blue Park Kitchen here.

MICHELIN-STARRED CROWN SHY: Crown Shy is the first solo project of Chef James Kent and Restaurateur Jeff Katz. Inspired by James’ upbringing in downtown New York and his experience leading the city’s most celebrated kitchens, Crown Shy is a neighborhood seasonal restaurant elevated by fine dining training and technique. Read more about it here.

OVERSTORY: This rooftop bar is on the 64th floor featuring a wrap-around terrace.

SAGA: The SAGA is executive chef James Kent and restaurateur Jeff Katz’ second restaurant. Make reservations here!

CITY ACRES MARKET: At City Acres Market, you’ll find all the ingredients you need to whip up your favorite recipes, prepare for get-togethers with friends and family, as well as stock your pantry and fridge.

BLACK FOX COFFEE: Black Fox Coffee is the coffee shop downstairs and also the coffee provided in each room! We made some of their pour-over coffee and it was great but I will say their coffee downstairs is so much better! I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and my girl Chelsea order a latte with their homemade butterscotch syrup and it was heavenly!
