THE MOST AMAZING AIRBNB & RAPPELLING IN EAST ZION!

It was trendy, first and foremost, in a beautiful almost unreal location, and had views for days from the tiny house. This Airbnb was actually a container/tiny house, which was super cool! I love watching the show, Tiny House Nation so I was definitely nerding out hardcore being in one! I’m pretty critical when it comes to Airbnb and this one seriously had everything we needed from coffee (A MUST), a comfy bed, cute decor for photoshoots (content creator life, y’all!), and responsive and kind hosts. Micah and Jules were super responsive and did everything they possibly could to ensure we had a lovely time in their Abode! We were able to use all their amenities and of course, create some killer content! Hello photos for the next month on IG!

HOW WAS THE BED?

The bed was SO FREAKING COMFY and I’m a stickler for comfy beds. They had lots of extra pillows and a big blanket too if you needed it or had someone staying on the couch. I definitely didn’t want to get out of bed that morning but their coffee and French press was calling my name! I also love to pick up shirts from excursions or things I go on that are super memorable, so how cute is this shirt? Andrew picked up a cool hat too! He has it on in a couple of photos below.

DID THEY HAVE A HOT TUB?

Heck yes, they did! We were hoping they would have one because how fun is it to stay at an airbnb and have your own private hot tub? We used it a lot actually for only being there for a night. After hiking and rappelling, we soaked in the hot tub! We didn’t have to mess with anything either. I know that can get kind of confusing, using someone else’s hot tub, but all we had to do was flip up the top and get in! There was a place to change the temp on it too so you didn’t have to get out to change anything if you needed to. We looked at the gorgeous stars! It’s so clear there so it’s a must to go outside and look at the stars. We loved the hot tub so much that we even got in the next morning before we left and watched the sunrise! I felt so cool doing that!

WAS THERE A PLACE TO CHILL OUTSIDE?

YES! They had an awesome and spacious deck around with a table, chairs, and a grill! It would have been a perfect area to grill out and eat while looking at the mountains. We decided to have breakfast out there one morning and it was seriously the outdoor area of my dreams!

Like I said previously, the deck area was super spacious and with that view, you definitely wanted to spend as much time as you could outside! We even did some yoga on the deck. Ugh, I miss it so much. It was such a wonderful place to look at mother nature and appreciate her beauty and breathe it all in.

HOW WAS THE INSIDE?

I would describe the inside as cozy and trendy! Yes, the place is small, but it felt so spacious! They have everything arranged so well. I cuddled up on the couch with Andrew after our adventures through East Zion and it was really nice. The couch was hella comfy too so if anyone did need to sleep on it, it would be fine! The bathroom was fully stocked with everything you might need as well as the kitchen. We didn’t want for anything while there, which is a big deal for those who’ve stayed in various places before. They did a great job and thinking about what guests would want.

What I thought was really cute was that Micah and Jules had a guest book we could sign and write about our experience at ABODE³. Not going to lie, I totally teared up writing our message because we needed this little get away so badly. It’s been rough in Houston and being in a place like this was such a breathe of fresh air, TRULY!

EAST ZION EXPERIENCES

They also own the company, East Zion Experiences, and sent us a discount if we booked while visiting. Back story, Andrew and I had never been to Zion and kept hearing how YOU HAD to be there at like 6:00 a.m. to get parking and then all the trails are fairly busy. Additionally, we didn’t really know what we wanted to do and to be completely honest, lacked in the research area. Okay, back to East Zion Experiences! We got the discount from Micah and Jules and decided to peruse the website and HOLY CRAP! We couldn’t believe the opportunities they offered! From 2 - 7 hour rappelling tours through canyons to amazing guided hikes through East Zion. Andrew and I looked at each other and were like “Oh hell yes!” It was perfect!

We decided to go with the 4-hour East Zion Canyoneering/UTV Tour! Andrew and I had never rappelled before and were a little nervous but oh my goodness our tour guide, Tanner made us so freaking comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to teach us everything about rappelling as well as answering all our questions. We highly recommend booking with Tanner because he went out of his way to ensure our experience was 100 and then some! Overall, 11/10! We’re already planning our trip back! Be sure to watch the video below to see us rappel!

EXPERIENCE IT WITH US!
