GAMING & TECH

  1. gaming headset - this is a great and affordable headset! A lot of headsets are really expensive and sub-pair quality but these are really nice for the money. I have them in black and you can even program the lights on the side to change colors. These also include a hidden mic that pulls out.

  2. smart watch - As much as I would like to link a different watch, every review I’ve read on other smart watches are not great. I have an Apple 3 watch and it’s amazing. It works extremely well and I seriously love being able to do things from it without my phone. If the male in your life has an iPhone and doesn’t have an Apple watch already this would be an awesome gift.

  3. sitting/standing desk - Andrew has this desk and loves it!! He used it for gaming and will just press the buttons on the front to bring it up to standing position or down to sit. Additionally, it’s great for a home office too if the male in your life doesn’t game. It is expensive but Andrew said it’s worth every penny.

  4. tile - I got these for Andrew and I two years ago and we use them all the time. Tiles are either keychains, flat rectangles, or stickers you put on your keys, in your wallet or purse, or stick on things you lose often like a tv remote, camera, etc. Once you receive the tile you download the tile app and content everything to your phone. Then you can click on the specific item on the app and it will ring the tile. So if I can’t find my keys I’ll open my tile app, click on keys, and then I’ll hear the cutest jingle.

  5. airpods - I love these bad boys! I got them for Christmas last year and think they would be a great gift. If the male in your life isn’t a fan of ear buds these Bose headphones are a great alternative.

  6. Google Nest or Amazon Echo - We actually have both and love them equally! I have an amazon echo in my office, google nest in the kitchen, and google nest in the bedroom! haha. We have them everywhere! I think they are great for making your home a smart home because you can connect your electronics to them and say things like “Alexa/Google turn off the TV”. Another thing we do with ours are ask them math questions, set alarms or timers, play music, and even recipes.

  7. power bank - okay I didn’t think I would use this thing as much as I do! It’s freaking awesome for traveling, concerts, festivals, out n about, etc. You charge it up and then you’ve got power to plug in an USB and charge. This is seriously an awesome gift for someone who is always on their phone. It’s a little more expensive but that’s because this is an intense power bank, not like the logo ones you get for free that last for a couple of hours. This thing lasts for days!

  8. nintendo switch - this is basically the latest version of the game boy but you can play games with multiple people or on your own! I play Animal Crossing New Horizons on mine and then Mario Kart with other people. What’s really cool is that it turns into a console, which means you can connect it to your TV and play on it like it’s a PlayStation.

  9. PlayStation 5 - Honestly do I even need to explain this? Most men want the latest version of everything and I’ve heard the PS5 is awesome!

  10. Roomba - Honestly I just love this thing and Andrew wanted one so bad!

  11. DSLR camera - I have this exact camera and love it but it’s ultimately on you to decide what brand you like best. I started with a Nikon so I’m sticking with it because of all the lenses I’ve purchased over the years. However, I hear great things about Canon and Sony DSLR cameras. They might even have a preference already.

  12. bluetooth speaker - These are great gifts! I feel like every time we go on vacation or hang out with friends someone asks if anyone has a speaker! This one is on sale right now too.

  13. gaming chair - This is one of the best gaming chairs out there. Andrew and Jake both have this one and honestly now I want it too!

  11. leather belt - Andrew has this exact Fossil belt and wears it everyday! It’s high quality and such a beautiful color of leather.

  12. blue light glasses - blue light glasses are a must for anyone who looks at computer screens often! Blue light can be really harsh on your eyes and even lead to migraines.

  13. nice weatherproof boots - I absolutely love Toms boots because they’re good looking, high quality, and weather resistant! I have the lady version and wear them ALL the time during the winter.

  14. 1/4-zip fleece - I feel like everyone needs a pullover like this that’s great for pretty much everything. Hiking, biking, chilling outside, etc. etc.

  15. beanie - Every man needs a beanie! This one comes in multiple colors and is good quality too. Carhartt was one of my clients when I worked in marketing and y’all their products are awesome. They put a lot of work into them!

  16. classic tee - These come in multiple colors and are great for layering as well. They can even throw a flannel on over it!

  17. flannel pjs - Oooo girl, get some of those comfy pjs for your man. These are super comfy, cozy, and great for family photos.

  18. a nice tie - J. Crew Factory has some of the nicest ties for great prices! They have some really cool patterns too like floral, plaid, and even planets!

  19. winter coat - When I met Andrew he was rocking a not so cute puffy coat from I don’t know where, but now.. he’s got some great winter pieces. This coat is great looking and keeps your man warm!

  20. nice athletic shorts - Hear me out. Yes, these are expensive but y’all Lululemon shorts are magic. I’m not the biggest fan of the company as a whole but Andrew and I love their shorts. He has two pairs, one in black and one in grey and wear them constantly. He basically retired all his other shorts for these! They are high quality and last forever.

  21. long sleeve henley - oooo put a man in a long sleeve henley and get them to push the sleeves up a bit… hot damn. It’s so sexy! These henley’s are extremely soft and nice quality!

  22. athletic polo - This is a great polo for athletic activities because of the material! It breaths and doesn’t just stick to the skin. Andrew wears them for work, golf, and during the summer when it’s horribly hot.

  23. graphic tee - Graphic tees are great! You can pick a specific thing and find a graphic tee for it! Andrew loves the Mandalorian so I’ll always head to Target’s website and search for it. Target has the cheapest graphic tees that are great quality.

  24. nice sunglasses - A great pair of sunglasses is a really nice gift. I’m a big fan of Ray-Bans, but any high quality brand is good too!

  25. Nike AirForce 1s - These shoes are awesome! I have two pair and have been begging Andrew to let me buy him some!

  1. grilling kit - This kit has everything for the avid grill master! You can even pair this kit with a grilling spice gift set!

  2. sphere ice tray - This is such a cool gift for those who love cocktails! This mold creates awesome sphere ice cubes that are great for all sorts of cocktails. Additionally, if you don’t want your cocktail watered down you can buy whiskey stones you put in the freezer then use as ice cubes.

  4. star wars mug - I couldn’t help myself with this one! It’s so cute! Target has mugs for pretty much everything. Movies, comics, tv shows, you name it! Andrew lots hot cocoa so this gift would be great to pair with a box of hot chocolate and marshmallows.

  5. insulated mug - I have a Yeti coffee mug and LOVE it. I took it to work everyday back when I worked at an agency because it kept my coffee HOT. I know there are some other alternatives that are more affordable but I’ve always liked the quality of Yeti and their warranty policy. You can pair this with their favorite coffee.

SELF CARE

  1. toiletries bag - Andrew has a leather one just like this and it’s great for all his crap when we travel! Think about it as a male makeup bag in a sense.

  2. manly smelling lotion - haha I died when I wrote that out! Bath and Body Works lotion has great scents for “men” although Andrew loves the sweeter smelling stuff and I prefer the “manly” scents. Either way, you can find some great stuff at Bath and Body Works.

  3. shower drink holder - This is just too damn funny! This is a great stocking stuff or gift exchange gift.

  4. electric toothbrush - A Quip toothbrush is a great gift! I bought my Quip back in college and remember Andrew being like “wait that’s an electric toothbrush? It’s so sleek and little.” He had one of those bigger electric toothbrushes and really liked how small this was but still as powerful! They come in multiple colors and even materials. I started out with the plastic one because I was a poor college kid but then I upgraded to the metal one and it’s honestly the same just prettier and heavier haha.

  5. comb - Honestly, I feel like most men, Andrew specifically, don’t even have brushes or combs and use their significant others so I’m 100% getting him a comb of his own.

  6. body wash - Andrew goes through body wash so quickly that I thought this would be a great thing to throw into your mans stocking.

  7. rechargeable trimmer - This trimmer is a great gift for a man with a beard! It seems like Andrew needs a new trimmer every year because he never buys a high quality one. This one is great and shouldn’t have to be replaced often.

  8. nice razor - I feel like men always need a regular razor and then a trimmer! This razor had great reviews and comes in different colors!

  9. manly smelling candle - Again… I like these scents more than most men but this candle is a great gift!

  10. nail clippers - MEN NEED THESE. Andrew seriously has talons and has LEGIT cut me with his in bed so if your man is like this too, give him some of these in his stocking.

  11. beard oil - Honestly, I don’t know much about beard oil but Andrew says it’s great and he has a beard. LOL.

  12. comfy robe - Robes are such great gifts! They’re great to throw on in the morning with cozy slippers or open presents in on Christmas morning.

  13. beard hair catcher - I saw this and couldn’t resist! Freaking Andrew gets his beard hair EVERYWHERE!! This baby sticks to the mirror and catches allllllll the beard hair and doesn’t go down the sink drain.

  14. cologne - This cologne smells amazing and this set comes with three different travel sized scents so they can see what they or rather you, like best. Then you can buy the full sized version for them later on.

GIFTS THAT DON’T REQUIRE MONEY

During the holidays many people think they NEED to purchase gifts. I’m here to tell you that’s not the case. Many of the best gifts I’ve received weren’t things you could purchase. I wanted to give some of those ideas for you as well.

MOVIE NIGHT

This can be super special! I know, you’re probably thinking “uh a movie night? We do this all the time. How is it special?” Pick a theme of your significant other or friends favorite movie, dress up, decorate, and give them a fun theme filled night! Another idea is to watch their favorite sports team play! Put on their favorite team jersey or t-shirt and then lay one out for them to wear too!

PICNIC IN THE PARK

Picnics in the park can be so fun, y’all! Grab some cards or Uno and pack a bag full of food. Sometimes we stop by and grab sandwiches or make them then head to the park with a quilt.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT DRIVES

We love bundling up and hopping in the car with thermoses full of hot cocoa to drive around and look at Christmas lights and blast holiday music!

ROMANTIC DINNER

Andrew and I love a good mac and cheese night with some candles and a bottle of wine! Remember a romantic dinner doesn’t need to be an expensive steak. It’s what YOU make it!

CREATE A MEMORY SLIDESHOW

This is so fun to sit back and watch a slideshow of your memories together. Might as well put all those photos you take together to good use!

REASONS WHY I LOVE YOU JAR

Andrew made this for me last year and it’s a jar full of reasons why he loves me all written on separate pieces of paper. It was so sweet and I pull one out anytime I’m sad and he’s not around.

SUNRISE OR SUNSET DATE

Grab a thermos of coffee or a bottle of wine and a blanket then head to a pretty area to watch the sunrise or sunset. Honestly rooftops of parking garages are great for this too!

GAME NIGHT

Grab y’all’s favorite games and make a night out of it!! Andrew and I love UNO and Monopoly! You guys can make dinner and have snacks while you game all night long.

These are just a few examples of things you can do that don’t require money. They are really special too. Not that buying gifts isn’t special but these are great alternatives too.

There you have it! My ultimate gift guide for the male in your life! This guide covers a range of budget types so if you want to splurge on high quality items you can or go for the more affordable pieces or even the gifts that don’t require money at all. Either way, these gifts are sure to please the recipient.
