I received this BelláPierre Waterproof Mascara in my February Ipsy bag. If you know me, you know I LOVE me some mascara. My brother says my eyelashes look like spider legs I wear so much of it. I thought that was a pretty funny, haha! Spider legs? What? Any who, I was really excited to get this full size product that is waterproof as well. I’m heading to California for spring break and this saves me some money and time going to the store to buy some waterproof mascara. I decided to try out this product before I went hot tubbing and swimming the other night. 

It applied very nicely to my lashes but it did take a while to dry. I rubbed my eye about 3 minutes later and smeared the mascara everywhere. Not too big of an issue, but still a little annoying. I then set out for the pool and hot tub. After being splashed a couple of times in the hot tub I realized the mascara was dripping from my eyelashes. What?! I’ve used lots of different waterproof mascaras and this hasn’t happened before. I thought maybe I read the label wrong. It couldn’t have said waterproof. I then jumped into the pool, completely submerging my head in the water. When I came out of the water, my mascara was everywhere. No way, this was waterproof.

Well ladies and gentlemen, this mascara does indeed say that it is waterproof. What a bummer. I do like the way it applied and can still wear it, it’s just unfortunate that it smeared everywhere.
